Methodology
How ConcreteWorks verifies the contractors we list and what we will not publish.
ConcreteWorks is a directory of concrete leveling and repair contractors across the United States. Every business on this site is one we have confirmed is real and works in this trade. This page describes where listings come from, what we will not publish, and how to reach us if something is wrong.
Where listings come from
Our listings come from public business information and direct submissions from contractors. Where a state publishes contractor licensing data, we use it to confirm a business is licensed for the area we list them in. Contractors can also add or claim a listing themselves through the links at the bottom of this page.
Before a contractor appears on the site, we confirm that the business exists, works in concrete leveling or repair specifically, and has not already been listed under another entry. If we cannot verify those things, the contractor does not appear.
What we publish
- Verifiable claims only. Details such as years in business, license numbers, and service areas appear on a listing only when they come from a source we can point to. We do not invent reviews, ratings, awards, or credentials.
- First-party content. Every page on ConcreteWorks is written and maintained by us. We do not host guest posts, sponsored sections operated by other companies, or content rented onto our domain.
Site reputation and editorial control
Google's Site Reputation Abuse policy addresses sites that publish third-party content primarily to manipulate search rankings. ConcreteWorks does not. Every listing and every page is curated and edited by us. We do not rent subdomains or subdirectories to third parties, accept guest posts, or run sections operated by outside companies under our brand.
Contractors who buy featured placement get higher visibility within a city or state. They do not get editorial exemption. A paid listing that fails verification is removed.
How often pages update
Pages update when contractor information changes. When a contractor updates their listing or a payment lands, the relevant pages refresh immediately so readers see current details. Beyond that, we periodically re-check live listings and remove or correct anything that has drifted out of vertical or gone defunct.
Report an error
If you find a listing that looks wrong, out of vertical, duplicated, or defunct, please email us at ben@concreteworks.io. We review every report and act on the next publication cycle.
Contractors who want to add, claim, or correct their own listing can use the Claim Business or List Your Business page.
